May 31st, 2010My backswing is ok but when I begin to swing forward my hips are always faster than my hands which opens up the golf club face and causes pretty bad slice, anyone know any drills or tips to fix this?
How do i become a club pro at a local golf course?
May 29th, 2010I am 23 and have been playing golf for about 8 years now. I think I have a pretty good grasp of the game and usually shoot in the low 80’s when I play. I have been able to teach many of my friends how to golf respectively and thought it would be awesome to eventually make a career of golf.
How do I go about doing this? I understand that there are schools I could attend. How much do they cost where are they located? I live in Pennsylvania if that helps.

Go to a qualified golf pro for the answer. This can be ascertained through the swing analysis. You may have developed a ” reverse pivot ” where the body forms a severe letter ” C ” configuration. This puts pressure on the back.

It can be removed using a solvent to release it, you then fit if to another club, the club has to prepared to accept it, adhesive tape and solvent.

How much to spend on a golf club set for a beginner? How to choose a somewhat decent golf club set?
May 13th, 2010Yeah, so I know nothing about golf. My husband wants to start golfing, he has MAYBE golfed like 10 times in his entire life, using friends clubs or whatever.
Well he wants to start golfing more frequently and have his own set. I know NOTHING about golf…
So I have a few questions-
* How much should I pay for a set, also, should I get a new set or used?
* Can I just go on e-bay and get a set for like $150 and that would be okay?
* Do brands really make a big difference?
*Anything else I need to watch out for or know before buying a golf club set?

I would visit two chains:Dick’s Sporting Goods and Sports Authority.Both have very affordable sets of golf clubs plus the essentials such as tees,golf clothes and golf balls.
By you not knowing the game I would not purchase a set sight unseen.Both stores have very good sales staffs.

- Driver
- 3 Hybrid
- 4 Hybrid
- 5 Hybrid
- 3 Wood
- 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Iron
- Pitching Wedge
- Sand Wedge
- Putter

Same thing i have minus the 5 iron. I get around pretty well with it, and got it for only $199.
